How to build Ra1nstorm Jailbreak?


Building setup.exe requires Inno Setup 5 installed in C:/Program Files/Inno Setup 5/ISCC.exe using WINE from within Linux.
Download Wine Here.
Once it is installed, run make setup.exe to build the setup.exe


ra1nstorm can be built using many common Linux distributions. Ubuntu is a commonly used one.
Building ra1nstorm requires makeself and make. Install both from your package manager to compile, and copy /usr/bin/makeself to /usr/bin/
To build, simply use make

Step By Step Guide for Jailbreaking using Ra1nstorm

Step 1:
Build ra1nstorm jailbreak by previous mentioned methods for Windows/ Linux appropriately

Step 2:
Connect your iPhone / iPad to your computer using USB.

Step 3:
Once the setup of ra1nstorm is complete ( this means MacOS has been installed inside). Run checkra1n jailbreak inside the virtual environment.

Step 4:
In Order to run checkra1n, open the Checkra1n jailbreak app.
Note: Give all permissions to the app. Disable FileVault if there is any problem occurs.

Step 5:
Now click the Start button and then click Next .

Step 6:
Now put your iPhone / iPad into DFU mode

Step 7:
Now your device will restart after the process has been completed. Now you can see the Checkra1n app on your device’s home screen.

Step 8:
Run checkra1n app and install Cydia. After installing Cydia your device will restart and then you can see the Cydia icon on your device’s home screen.
